Once again, HDU stands for HIGH DENSITY URETHANE, and is a fairly versatile modern sign substrate. It can be cut to shape for dimensional letters of just about any size, or it can be relief routed to achieve any number of looks. HDU is often used as a less expensive alternative to sandblasted wood.
